How it works
AVACEN® Heat Hand Therapy is intended to improve local circulation in muscle tissue in as little as 20 minutes of treatment, facilitating and improving microcirculation throughout the entire body. Since 2009, the benefits of AVACEN devices have impacted thousands of people worldwide, with over 25 million safe treatments to date. AVACEN is an FDA Cleared Class II medical device that is safe, effective, noninvasive and easy to use.
PROVIDES NONINVASIVE PAIN RELIEF & IMPROVED WELLNESS, RELAXING MUSCLES & REDUCING JOINT PAIN, STIFFNESS AND PERIPHERAL NEUROPATHY WHILE INCREASING MICROCIRCULATION & BLOOD OXYGENATION.
Vacuum Chamber
When the hand, enclosed in a special patented mitt, is placed inside the vacuum chamber, negative pressure and heat are applied to safely increase the temperature and blood volume flowing through high volume arteriovenous anastomoses (AVAs). It is important to note that the application of heat without negative pressure is ineffective.
Heat Infusion
Infusing heat into the circulatory system reduces blood thickness (viscosity) and increases microcirculation. Thinner blood facilitates more efficient flow through the skeletal muscles on its route to the smaller vasodilated capillaries (microvascular circulation) which the body uses to radiate the excess AVACEN produced heat.
Microcirculation Boost
An increase in microcirculation enhances oxygen delivery and nutrition to the skeletal muscles while carrying away carbon dioxide and waste. The result – healthier, more relaxed muscles throughout the entire body.
AVACEN 100 is a heat therapy indicated for the temporary relief of minor muscle and joint pain and stiffness; the temporary relief of joint pain associated with any arthritis, muscle spasms, minor strains and sprains; muscular relaxation; and the temporary increase of local blood circulation for local cell mitochondrial energy support and reduction in inflammation where applied to the hand. AVACEN 100 is not indicated if you are under 18 years of age, are pregnant, or have a temperature higher than 99.5°F (37.5°C).
Hand pain, temporary and chronic, has many causes, including injuries, overuse, and chronic conditions:
-
Injuries can result in peripheral neuropathy in the hands and fingers.
-
Overuse: Repetitive motions from activities or sports can cause wear and tear hand pain.
-
Chronic conditions: Osteoarthritis and Rheumatoid Arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome, and other conditions can cause chronic hand pain.
-
Infections — Certain viral and bacterial infections (Lyme disease, HIV, etc.) can cause peripheral neuropathy hand pain. Neuropathy damage to the hands is common.
-
Other causes: Diabetes, Metabolic Dysfunction, other Peripheral Neuropathy causes, and other ailments can also cause hand pain, numbness and cold.
